Who Is ChiroJunky?
ChiroJunky was created to promote and support Black chiropractors by increasing their visibility, strengthening professional connection, and improving access to chiropractic care in the communities they serve.
ChiroJunky addresses this through structured visibility and professional engagement through a national directory, ongoing professional dialogue, and year-round engagement connecting patients, practitioners, and interdisciplinary partners.
We believe chiropractic utilization is closely tied to familiarity. When providers are not visible, they are not utilized. When they are not utilized, practices become difficult to sustain. The result affects both sides, patients lose access to care, and providers struggle to remain in the profession.
Our Mission
ChiroJunky’s mission is to increase the visibility, accessibility, and long-term sustainability of Black chiropractors in order to improve health outcomes in Black, underserved communities and advance the chiropractic profession.
The Problem We Address
In 2024, the chiropractic workforce remained overwhelmingly White, with 79.8% of chiropractors identifying as White and only 3.38% identifying as Black. At the same time, the most recent available study on chiropractic utilization estimated that only 1–3% of chiropractic users are Black.
This gap affects more than representation. It shapes familiarity, trust, access, and utilization. Many Black and minority communities remain underexposed to chiropractic care, while many Black chiropractors enter practice without strong referral networks, established patient pipelines, or professional ecosystems that support long-term sustainability.
ChiroJunky believes chiropractic will not reach its true mainstream tipping point until Black and other minority communities are utilizing chiropractic care in meaningful numbers. Familiarity drives utilization. Utilization creates demand. Demand supports sustainable practices. And sustainable practices increase community exposure to chiropractic care.
ChiroJunky was created to accelerate that shift by increasing the visibility of Black chiropractors, strengthening professional connection, and improving public familiarity with chiropractic care in the communities where exposure has historically been limited.
Our Work
Since 2020, ChiroJunky has been built through personal investment, volunteer effort, community participation, and early sponsor support. This foundation has allowed the platform to grow, earn trust, and demonstrate impact before securing major institutional funding.
With expanded partnership support, ChiroJunky can scale its visibility efforts, strengthen programming, and increase access to chiropractic care in the communities where exposure has historically been limited.
